Shiner Light Blonde. It came in the Family Reunion mixed 6-pack.
I almost got the Shiner Strawberry Blonde Pale Ale 6-pack. Maybe next time.

I might be about to open a bottle of Macallan 12 myself. Or maybe go with the Suntory Hibiki that’s open, it’ll be a game time decision.

There’s a place in Market Square(in downtown Knoxville)that has $5 PBR pitchers some times. I never feel bad for that price at that location.

Yummm. That’s good stuff too. I became a fan of single malts while in New York and D.C.

Glenfiddich is a pretty solid choice as well. I became a fan at my uncle’s house about 13 years ago, or so. I think it was actually some Macallan 18 (or something similar) that got me going. That was his cheap stuff he kept around for other people, he’s not even a liquor drinker.

Texas! It’s where Shiner beer was born!
Their most popular beer, Shiner Bock, is available across most of the country.

It’s an Islay night for me.

I’m a big fan of Shinerbock. You’re close enough you may have Yazoo. They are out of Nashville and fantastic. Like Ballast Point quality beer. I love them
![]() 03/10/2017 at 22:58 |

I’ll look them up next time I go to the local hipster liquor store.

Haha do it. Yazoo, Highland, Jackalope, and Good People are all great. High land is out of the Tri cities in East Tennessee and Good People are out of Birmingham. Lots of real good beer.

Hey I can’t even have a garage. I’m sure there are plenty of hipsters drinking cold brewed pliney the younger coffee or some such.

Haha so could you find us a Toyota Century to bring to the US?
![]() 03/10/2017 at 23:23 |

Yeah, I actually know where you can buy one IN the USA right now! And if I had any space or extra money I would have one of these!! My wife is Japanese and I do go back there from time to time.

CC Lemon. Decided to take a break from beer tonight (I ran out) and drink one of these. It’s the last bottle from the stash I picked up on my last jaunt to LA.
It’s yellow, Japanese, and not a common sight. In other words, it’s the Celica Sunchaser of sodas.

Boulevard milk stout and a lemon la croix. Because I had a headache already but still thought I deserved a beer.

You have a tremendous taste in drinking. Thats what I was having in Luxembourg a week ago. No alcochol for me tonight, nightshift calls...
![]() 03/10/2017 at 23:56 |

Haha my taste in drinking is tremendous but is getting expensive. I love IPAs and Sours and Single Malts... I’ve paid $5 for a bottle of sour at a beer market. Twice the price of any other beer I’ve drinkin.

Ive been digging into the ‘specialty’ beer market more and more lately. The Belgian beers.....man, they’ve got me by the gonads. I dont know where youre from, but if youre from the US/Canada, try to get some proper Belgian beer. I know it sounds generic, ‘Belgian beer’, but proper Belgian beer, of nearly any kind (whichever you prefer of course, brown/blonde, you name it) is.......very, very good. I guarantee that.

I’m in Tennessee but the craft scene in the Southeastern US is absolutely amazing. I’m headed to Asheville, North Carolina with a few buds next weekend. They have more breweries per capita then almost anywhere else in the US. If you can ever try a Yazoo sour please do. It is the best thing I have ever, ever tasted.

Some juice.

5$ for a bottle of sour?
I’ve paid 80$ for a 2012 3f gueuze. That’s expensive. And even that is cheap for some beer.
![]() 03/11/2017 at 00:22 |
|
Holy crap was it worth it?
![]() 03/11/2017 at 00:26 |
|
Practically? Probably not.
But gueuze is as complex as beer gets. And to be able to try a beer from a brewery like that was worth it to me. Next time I go to Westbrook I will take a pic of the bottle list. Almost made me faint. Lol
But people pay for beer just as they will for wine and bourbon.

I am very tempted now. If you would like to send a bottle to me, I get married in May and would greatly appreciate it haha.

Two ale ales that I think were Granville Island, but who knows, and now a Cariboo Blonde. I may wander over to the liquor store and get something better, or I’ll just get into the rye or vodka or something
